Quick answer

Button combo

POWER(hold to force off)·reset pinhole

Steps

  1. 1Stuck at the Anbernic logo: power off, reseat the TF1 (OS) card, and retry.
  2. 2If it still hangs, re-flash the official .img to TF1 with balenaEtcher.
  3. 3Squished or off-center picture on CFW: add the RG34XX .dtb (see Custom firmware).
  4. 4Won't power on: charge over USB-C 30+ minutes and watch for the charge light.
  5. 5Frozen: hold POWER to force off or press the small reset pinhole.

Most RG34XX issues come down to the TF1 (OS) microSD or, on custom firmware, the display device tree. A unit stuck at the Anbernic logo or showing a black screen usually wants the card reseated or the official .img re-flashed with balenaEtcher, while a stretched or off-center picture in CFW means the RG34XX device tree (sun50i-h700-anbernic-rg34xx.dtb) is missing for the wide 3:2 panel. If it won't power on, charge over USB-C for at least half an hour and check the charge light before suspecting hardware. A recessed reset and a POWER force-off clear most freezes. This is a DRAFT for human review.

FAQ

The image looks stretched or off-center on CFW.
The 3:2 panel needs the RG34XX device tree. On ROCKNIX copy sun50i-h700-anbernic-rg34xx.dtb to the boot partition root; recent Knulli builds already support the RG34XX.
It's stuck on the Anbernic logo.
Power off, reseat the TF1 (OS) card, and reboot. If it persists, re-flash the official .img to TF1 with balenaEtcher; a corrupt card is the usual cause.
