GameSir X4 Aileron — Troubleshooting

Quick answer

Steps

  1. 1If only one half responds, long-press Share or Xbox until both RGB rings match, then reconnect.
  2. 2Won't connect by Bluetooth: hold the pairing button 2s and select GameSir-X4a again.
  3. 3Wrong-game behaviour: check the mode light (blue = standard, white = Xbox) and toggle with Xbox + A (5s).
  4. 4Stick drift: raise the inner dead zone in the GameSir app or recalibrate.
  5. 5On iPhone it may not register, as the X4 Aileron is an Android-focused controller.

Because the X4 Aileron is a split, Bluetooth-first Android controller, common issues are half-sync, pairing and mode mismatches. Re-sync the halves with a long press of Share or Xbox, re-pair by holding the pairing button, and confirm the mode by the indicator colour (blue standard, white Xbox), toggled with Xbox + A. Drift is handled by dead-zone tuning or calibration in the GameSir app, and iPhone is not officially supported.
