The rear switch selects the platform (2.4G dongle, Bluetooth, NS). On PC over 2.4G or wired you can toggle the input protocol: HOME + X forces X-input (LED1 white) for games with native controller support, and HOME + A forces D-input (LED1 blue) for emulators. The NS position connects to Switch automatically with a blue LED1.
FAQ
- When do I need D-input?
- For emulators and older games that expect a DirectInput pad; most modern PC games use X-input.
- It connected blue but I wanted white.
- In dongle/wired mode, hold HOME + X until LED1 turns solid white to switch to X-input.
