Steps

  1. 1Switch connection mode by holding the Pairing button and releasing on the platform's channel pattern (Switch sweep / Android 1&5 / iOS-PC 2-4 / dongle 1/2/4/5).
  2. 2Switch the face-button layout by holding the M (gear) button for 2 sec until the gear icon rotates and the labels change.
  3. 3Use XInput (via 2.4G dongle or USB cable) for PC and for GameSir Connect.
  4. 4Re-pair after switching if a device does not reconnect: hold the Pairing button 2 sec.

There are two kinds of switching. Connection mode is chosen by the channel pattern while holding the Pairing button. The face-button LAYOUT (Nintendo vs Xbox A/B/X/Y) is rotated by holding the M (gear) button for 2 sec. Note: GameSir Connect only detects the pad in XInput (dongle or cable); it will not see it in DS/NS mode over Bluetooth.

FAQ

A/B/X/Y are in the wrong positions.
Hold the M (gear) button for 2 sec to rotate the ABXY layout; the on-pad labels and lighting update to match (e.g. Nintendo vs Xbox).
GameSir Connect doesn't detect the controller.
