  4. 4Wait for it to finish, then unplug and power on normally.
  5. 5To update the 2.4G dongle, run the separate dongle Flash Tool the same way.

Unlike the wired G7 models, the G7 Pro uses dedicated PID-protected Flash Tool .exe utilities on PC — one for the controller and one for the 2.4G dongle. Download them from GameSir's G7 Pro firmware tutorial. Connect over USB-C while holding Xbox + MENU so the tool reads the device as online (green), then click install firmware and wait. Repeat with the dongle tool to update the receiver.
